My name is, as you have probably guessed, Niall Byrne, and I was born in Dublin Ireland and have lived in Portmarnock, Co. Dublin for all of that time.
Education : I attended St. Helen's National School, in Portmarnock from my primary education and then Portmarnock Community School for my secondary education.
Once I graduated from secondary school, I began an engineering degree in the Dublin Institute of Technology
(DIT), Kevin Street. After two years in engineering I decided that it
was not the course for me and I left to start a degree in Information
and Communications technology, in the University of Dublin, Trinity College. I graduated from Trinity College Dublin (TCD) in 2004.... Niall Byrne BA ICT
Interests : Some people would describe me as a bit of a fad person and I suppose this is true. So at one stage or another I have tried most things out.
My current interests are mountain biking, kiting, squash, though I am well equipped from my past fads to take part in fishing, photography, tennis, golf (which I am brutal at) as well as many others which I can't think of.
Work : For the most part I have worked for eircom since graduating from college and also as a part-time employee during college. During college and school I also had the pleasure of working for Symth's Butchers in Portmarnock Village, The Whyte Sands Hotel in Portmarnock, Dunnes Stores in Portmarnock and Dublin city centre, AOL europe, Doyle's Builders, and Hire Intelligence in Malahide.
I have recently started a new job working for Google in the EMEA markets....which I am only bleedin delighted about.
